“ Love this place. Not only it brings back childhood memories, but the food is really good. I went the first time for a yelp event but I have been back at least twice a month and every time I bring someone with me who also love this place. For weekday lunch they have special that comes with a hot drink for 1 and cold drink for 2. I think I tried most of the menu and I have not had an item I did not like. The service is good and the nice pastel color modern decor is very pleasing to the eye. The bathroom is clean and well maintained. Go and try this place...you wont be disappointed. ”

“ This new HK Cafe is a great new addition to the area! It has a ton of variety in both the drinks, entrees and desserts. The interior is so well decorated and very well maintained. I love the comfy booth seating but theres also several tables as well. The staff is also very friendly and service was great throughout the entire meal. I got several of their items from the beef chow fun and baked Portuguese chicken with spaghetti to the Hong Kong style French toast and it was all delicious! All were very flavorful. I especially loved the sweets like the warm pineapple bun with butter which is a Hong Kong classic. The Hong Kong style French toast is a must get! Make sure to get the peanut butter one which has the contrast in textures from the addition of crushed peanuts. And add condensed milk to elevate it further! Also love the shrimp toast which is fried perfectly for the lovely exterior crunch and flavorful shrimp paste. Overall, a great restaurant with superb service and delicious food. I cant wait to be back! ”

“ If you try to prioritize protein with your diet, this restaurant is definitely worth a try. We came here for lunch and ordered the baked chicken over rice with black pepper sauce forgot to take a pic of the sauce and pork chop with scallion and onions. Both were delicious and we cleaned the whole plate, minus the rice of course. Save your carb quota for the french toast, its not overly sweet, not too oily, nice and crispy and satisfying. Their milk tea was also very good. Will definitely be coming back to try their dinner menu as well ”

“ I dont know why this place only has 3.4 stars. It deserves at least a 4.5. The food is definitely above standard and service wasnt bad like what other reviews said. This is my first time here and the waiter took the time to make recommendations and explain. They have a good variety of different kinds of food on the menu. We ordered 2 over rice and a chocolate French toast. They were all very good. I would say better than a lot of places in flushing. For people who is looking for something quick and decent, this is where you should go! ”

“ The food was great. I ordered one of the baked dishes and was expecting it to be a 20 minute wait because thats what was mentioned on the menu. But it had a rather quick turnaround, coming out in 10 minutes. The drinks were also amazing. I ordered the Milk Tea Red Bean Slush and it wasnt too sweet. It has the right amount of sweetness and ice. We also ordered the chicken wings, which had 6 pieces. It was nicely crispy on the outside and very tender inside. It had a good amount of seasoning too. I would highly recommend it! My friend ordered the Creamy scrambled eggs and chow fun for 16 and it was SO BIG. It was so tasty and flavorful. The flat noodles were cooked perfectly and the beef was very nicely made, very tender and not too fatty. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to a friend! ”
